Gillian Corcoran is a creative designer artist who make beautiful handcrafted jewelries from plants, flowers and trees.
She began his work from 2012 after seeing the leaves which were in the shallow water in a puddle. So, she tried to create this moment. She started to researched and found a bio- based eco resin to use for making her jewelries, so she was one the first persons who started to use this resin. Eventually she developed professional technique to make a better product. She used a degassing case to have better result for the resin and have crystal clear with strong form of product. The resin is UV with stabilizing technology so it won’t get yellow over time. Every piece of her handcrafted jewelry process is around 2 to 3 weeks which is difficult some how but Gillian passion is her motivation for going through this long process. She collect the natural elements at first and then dry them with special method to stay in perfect color and form. She collects flowers from countryside and moss and lichen from forest floor and seashells from shorelines. Then, she combines these items with gold, silver or gold leaf to have unique colors.
